Partnership with CERN

UNIQA Assurances SA has been successfully managing the CERN Health Insurance Scheme for over 40 years. Our commitment to providing the best services to our clients is strongly reflected in the loyalty they show us. We are proud to count CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, among our clients since 1971.

CERN is one of the world’s largest and most respected centers for scientific research in the field of fundamental physics. Founded in 1954, the CERN Laboratory sits astride the Franco–Swiss border near Geneva.

Our strong experience clearly shows that our own success is based on our clients’ satisfaction and the highest quality service. We constantly strive to anticipate the rapidly changing needs of our clients and to develop new services to meet those needs. Our clients' interests always come first!

UNIQA is also proud to support CERN into several actions in such different fields as health, special events, culture...

UNIQA supports the CERN Health campaign MOVE + EAT BETTER

UNIQA supports the CERN Medical Service campaign aimed at encouragingthe CERN’s staff to practice regular physical activity and to adopt a balanced diet.

Together with the support of many partners (CERN’s dieticians and Communications Service, CERN clubs, UNIQA and others…) the CERN Medical Service will be encouraging the CERN’s staff to move by participating in events to be organized throughout the year both in and outside the CERN.

In addition, information on the program “eat better” will be distributed throughout CERN sites.

UNIQA supports the artistic project Collide@CERN

Art and science interactions.

The Collide@CERN prize – an open call to artists working in different art forms – will be awarded annually until 2013. It comprises prize money and a residency grant for up to 3 months at CERN. The winning artists will interact and engage with CERN scientists in order to take their artistic work to new creative dimensions.
